We hope the HHS understands that the membership of Local 70 gave us a huge mandate to take this to ONA's Board of Directors, who officially censured the HHS on November 17th.  We will keep you updated as to the HHS response.

ONA LOCAL 70 ARBITRATION AWARD - ONA Wins Layoff Rights vs Reassignment
We are pleased to announce that for the 8th time ONA has successfully challenged a hospital on this issue and the arbitrator found that the HHS improperly reassigned our members and must provide layoff rights. Thanks to the nurses who stood up for those rights.  We are meeting with the hospital to determine next steps.
